Artist statement

Coming from the theater context, I see my own artistic practice as a curator, performer and costume designer, art educator, work in theater and cultural management as equal. These fields interact and are in a constant dialog with each other. 

My work is characterized by the confrontation of binary coding through the play with humor. Thereby I use a childlike visual language in various forms to overcome and confront the normative language.
